We had a great Christmas with our families. I am thankful to those ladies who switched me work days so we could go home so soon after Christmas.
i don't know if Sam realizes how lucky he is to have not just one large side of the family, but two. His parents hosted a Maine (his mom's maiden name) family Christmas and it was almost as big as the Theismann side. I've always wanted a large family who got together often. Now I have it.
The next night, we celebrated with my family. it was small as always and nice and intimate. Sam gets to experience what it feels like to have a small family.
