I'm doing this because I love you...

You know how you hear parents say, "I'm doing this because I love you"? And usually, it's kind of easy to thing, you're just saying that. Well, I heard it today at work and almost started crying. I don't know if I've ever heard it spoken with the emotion I heard today. I wanted to shake my patient and tell him, "Don't you hear that?! Don't you want to get better for your dad?" I don't know. Didn't know I'd be on the verge of tears at work because I heard a dad tell his son how much he loved him.
